Pariacaca Camp Lima

Pariacaca Camp Lima

Are you ready for a different adventure in the nearby area of Lima? Visit the Pariacaca Camp right now! It's in San José de Chorrillos, in the Huarochirí province. The town is approximately 85 kilometers from Lima. It offers a fun and thrilling weekend getaway.

You can visit Antioquia while traveling to the camp. Although the access routes are dangerous due to summer rains, Pariacaca Camp is open from April to December. The camp has a dining dome, along with four domes, two double and two triple. The domes, which include cozy beds and windows for viewing at night, resemble PVC balloons. These 5 domes will give you a comfortable stay; however, the nearby attractions will enhance your stay.

Activities

Pariacaca Camp offers a variety of activities, including:

Trekking: The camp has many hiking trails. They've got varying difficulty levels, from easy walks for beginners to more challenging hikes for the experienced.

Canopy: The camp features a 250-meter-long canopy circuit that goes through the forest.

Stargazing: Pariacaca Camp is a great spot for stargazing. It has telescopes to view planets, galaxies, and other celestial objects.

Other Activities: The camp also offers mountain biking and more trekking opportunities.

How to Get Pariacaca Camp

Public transportation goes to San José de Chorrillos. But, buses leave the fruit market only when they're full. However, I find their driving to be reckless. The drivers know the road well but drive hurriedly.  Take the Cieneguilla road to Antioquía and Huarochirí by car until kilometer 84. Always take the right turns until you reach San José de Chorrillos.

Visiting Antioquia and the waterfalls.

Situated about 70 kilometers from Lima, Antioquía is a quiet tiny hamlet tucked away in the hills of the Huarochirí province. The brightly colored buildings in this Peruvian neighborhood are well-known. It became known as the "Town of Colors" thanks to the locals.

Its walls are painted with vivid images of flowers, agricultural animals, and many architectural features. The town is ideal for generating curiosity. Taking lovely selfies with the artwork in the background is another fantastic use of it.  April through December is when Antioquía's magnificent sunshine is most plentiful. The magnificent daylight helps thousands of visitors take the ideal picture.

Antioquía's citizens received training for offering tourist services. This was a component of a plan for economic growth. Making the town a desirable travel destination was the aim. And they performed a fantastic job! Antioquía is more than just a charming, artistic town these days.

It is a friendly location for tourists as well. They look to nature and human creation for a singular experience. Near Antioquía, while you’re hiking you can find along the way a refreshing waterfall. The water’s totally cold, so be careful. It’s a nice retreat after having a long and exhausting trekking day.
