• Apukunaq Tianan is also called "Morada de los Dioses" (The gods’ dwelling). It is a collection of recently carved stone sculptures by a cusqueño artist.

The vast size of the sculptures, which range in height from 4 to 8 meters, lends this site a certain charm. A fascinating place with breathtaking vistas and a highly recommended location.

• Piuray Lagoon:  The Piuray Lagoon is one of Cusco's most important water sources. Half the city's water comes from it. In particular in the areas surrounding the Inca Sacred Valley. The Incas directed their waters to various parts of the city via an amazing system of canals.

Also, it's a fantastic location for outdoor activities such as riding, kayaking, stand-up paddling, and hiking.

• Maras Salt Mines: One of the few locations in the world that generates mineral salt. A salt pond in Maras is around 5 m2 in size and may produce 200 kg of salt every month. Only local families are permitted to operate the salt mines, and each family is only permitted to have five wells. 

Because maras salt contains a high concentration of minerals, it offers several advantages. Not only is it the perfect spice for individuals with hypertension, but people have also used it to ease edema and skin ailments.

• Huaypo Lake is in the provinces of Urubamba and Anta. It is a stunning lagoon with clean waters. The lake is about an hour from Cusco. The best time to go is in April and beyond the wet season.

• Moray Archaeological Center: Moray is an Inca agricultural research center and historical wonder. The Moray agricultural terraces can create different microclimates used for trials with many plants and crop species. Because of this, they are well known as an Inca agricultural laboratory.
