    Arrival in Lima and transfer to the hotel.

    City Tour in Modern and Colonial Lima | Lima - Huaraz.

We will visit the main tourist sites in the city of Lima, such as the Exhibition Park, Plaza Grau, Paseo de los Héroes Navales, Plaza San Martín, Plaza Mayor and the Government Palace. We will continue our tour with a visit to the Huaca Pucllana, a tourist and archaeological place that preceded the Inca Culture and which is shaped like a pyramid. Shortly after, we will visit the Historic Center of Lima, which was the center of the Spanish colony in the 16th century and was declared a World Heritage Site in 1991.     Huaraz - Laguna Parón Tour.

    Upon arrival in Huaraz, our staff will take you to the hotel where you will taste the famous Coca leaf tea, which helps to acclimatize. We will inform you the schedule of the day with very important tips so that you can enjoy the best of each tour. We will leave the hotel at approximately 08:30 am, heading to the city of Caraz, the starting point of our adventure. Then, we will walk on a path to the turquoise green lagoon of Paron, which offers a beautiful view of the White Mountains, with the snow-capped Chacraraju, Paria, Artesonraju, Garcilazo Pyramid and Pisco, which are within the territory of the Park. Nacional Huascarán We will have some free time to walk and take photos. After the tours, we will return to Caraz, where we will go to the city of Huaraz.

    Huaraz - Laguna Trail 69 - Llanganuco.

    On this day we will leave the hotel early at 5 am, heading north from Huaraz, towards the town of Cebollapampa, which will be our starting point for the walk that will take us to Laguna 69, we will begin the climb, on a road lasting 5 to 6 hours of walking. Laguna 69 is located at the foot of the snowy Chacraraju, at 4,600 meters above sea level. Its bright blue color, mixed with the majestic snow-capped mountains around it, make this landscape a true natural spectacle, making it one of the favorite destinations for national and foreign tourists. We will enjoy different landscapes and spectacular views of the snowy Pisco, Chacraraju, Chopicalqui and Huascarán. The variety of flora and fauna typical of the region will also impress you. Here, too, the Llanganuco Lagoon, turquoise green in color, is located within the territory of the Huascarán National Park in the Llanganuco sector. 25 kilometers to the northwest, is the city of Yungay, and the Quenuales forests, which are a natural sight to behold.

    Huaraz - Nevado de Pastoruri - Puya Raimondi.

    After breakfast, we will leave the hotel to begin our tour, passing through the towns of Recuay, San Patricio, Ticapampa, Catac and Laguna de Patococha, where we will observe a very peculiar species in the area; the Andean duck. We will also get to know Pumapampa, a source of sparkling mineral water; Pumashimi, the multi-colored water source; and Puya Raymondi, the maximum exponent of the Peruvian Andean flora. We will continue our tour, walking approximately 1 hour to the snowy Pastoruri, where it is possible to observe ice caves and a frozen lagoon, in an indescribable landscape. After lunch we will have some free time to walk. Later we will return to our starting point, where our staff will transfer you to your hotel to rest. At night we will leave in a comfortable tourist bus with on-board service, destined for the service city of Lima.

    Departure from Lima - Arrival in Cusco, transfer and reception at the hotel.

    Transfer to Lima International Airport for the flight to Cusco.     Archaeological City Tour in Cusco.

    At approximately 9:00 am, our tour of the historic center will begin with our local guide to see the sights of Cusco (free service only for clients of Viagens Machu Picchu). In the afternoon, we will do the Archaeological City Tour, and the first point to visit is the Cathedral of Cusco, one of the most beautiful in Peru and South America, with a baroque style made by the best sculptors of the Cusqueña School and the famous painter and Italian sculptor Bernardo Bitti. Next we will go to Qoricancha, the famous Temple of the Sun, the main place of worship to the Sun God in the time of the Incas. Then we will continue the tour, visiting four other archaeological sites around Cusco such as; the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, famous for its huge blocks of carved stones and for being the venue for the Inti Raymi (Festival of the Sun), Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay, the famous Inca shower.     Sacred Valley of the Incas, Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes.

The first stop will be at the Awanacancha textile museum, just after enjoying the magnificent view of the Sacred Valley. Following our itinerary, we will visit the Archaeological Center of Pisac and we will observe the enormous terraces made by the Incas, used to cultivate Andean agricultural products. At the end, you will have free time to learn more about local handicrafts, their techniques and characteristics, at the Pisac Handicrafts Market, an ideal place to buy souvenirs. Throughout the tour you will be accompanied by a specialized tour guide. Then we will leave Pisac for Urubamba for lunch, a buffet with many typical Peruvian foods and coca leaf tea to aid digestion.     7 Colors Mountain Trekking in Peru.

    The last day of adventure has arrived!
    Today is the day to closely observe one of the most beautiful and challenging landscapes in the region. We will start our tour very early, before breakfast at the hotel. But don't worry, a box lunch will be served on the way; On the trail we will cross the South Valley to reach the beginning of the "Chillihuani, Cusipata" route, which is 4,200 meters above sea level, and will guide us to the mountain. It will be a 3-hour walk, with beautiful landscapes in sight; mountains, plantations, streams and valleys. During the trip we will also pass through villages, where we will have contact with the locals and their customs, we will see llamas and alpacas in their habitat. When we finally reach the colorful mountain, we will be at approximately 5,200 meters of altitude, and we will have an impressive view of this geological wonder. At this time we will have free time (1 hour approx.) To enjoy the scenery, take pictures, record videos and, of course, get some rest. Later we will start the return walk, which is faster, takes around 1 hour, since it is a downhill stretch. Finally our team will take you back to Cusco, to your hotel, so you can rest.

    This is a 5-hour trip in total at an elevation of 4,200 meters to over 5,200 meters above sea level. For this reason it is very important to be in good physical condition to complete this tour. During the trip to Machu Picchu, where will my biggest luggage stay?
The railway company that operates Machu Picchu does not allow the traveler to carry a bag that weighs more than 5 kilos. And to go up to the same citadel of Machu Picchu, it is recommended to carry a light and small backpack for your comfort; The rest of the luggage can be left without any problem in the locker room of your hotel in Cusco.

Can I choose seats on train trips?

What is the best train for Machu Picchu: Expedition or Vistadome?
Normally we recommend that the train trip to Aguas Calientes be made in Expedition, and back in Vistadome, for some reasons: from Ida, the trip is shorter, departure times are generally when it is getting dark, so you will not be able to enjoy So much of the view, since Expedition is a simpler train with smaller windows.
