Exhibition Room “Gilberto Tenorio Ruiz”

This exhibition space was built in 2000 showcasing cultural artifacts from the Chachapoyas culture, mostly donated by local residents. It has four rooms:

The first room features a photo or temporary exhibition. It highlights the region's landscape, flora, and fauna.

The second room showcases objects from the Chachapoyas civilization. Residents largely contributed to them. The objects show influences from the Cajamarca and Inca cultures, this room also has textiles and organic objects.

The third room showcases stone items. These include clubs, axes, maces, and mortars. It also has a model of the Kuelap site.

The fourth room features an exhibition of burial bundles from Chachapoyas' ethnic-religious museum. The museum was built on the site of the first indigenous church in 1556.
