A  close look at its exteriors shows that the temple's front and side walls are rather plain. The temple includes a front door and two side entrances, both made of bare wood. The base of the temple is quite simple, in line with the overall design; the San Carlos Church has a single-nave base with a dirt floor.

The temple's main facade is modest in style, with unadorned wooden side and front doors. The only detail is a ventilation duct, which provides natural lighting for the choir. The interior has a single nave with a dirt floor. The most notable feature is a wooden altarpiece showing several saints. They include San Carlos and Santo Domingo, with the "Padre Eterno" figure sticking out.
