What a better way to explore Lima’s colonial town by taking a guided tour with a local expert. The Historic Center of Lima was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991 since it comprises over 600 historical monuments from the Colonial era.
At night, we’ll pick you up to take you from the hotel to the bus terminal, where you’ll board a comfortable tourist bus bound for the city of Huaraz. This will be a first-class bus ride with semi-bed seats.

Important Note: On this day, we’ll include a day use at the hotel so you can return from the morning city tour and continue using the accommodation’s facilities before heading to Huaraz.
Quick Tip: Huaraz is located at 3,052 meters above sea level. If you wish, you could take the first day off to acclimate your body. If so, please contact our travel agents.
Upon arrival in Huaraz, our team will take you to the hotel where you’ll try the famous Coca tea, known for helping with any altitude sickness symptoms. Afterwards, we’ll be departing at 08:30 a.m. towards the city of Caraz, the starting point of our adventure to Laguna Paron.
Once we reach Laguna Paron, we’ll have some free time to take some pictures, walk and enjoy this natural wonder. Afterwards, we’ll head towards the city of Huaraz so you can have a well deserved rest.

On this day, our departure will be as early as 05:00 a.m. heading north from Huaraz towards the Cebollapampa town, which will be our starting point for the Lagoon 69 trek.
Later, we’ll continue to the Llanganuco Lakes, another turquoise water body also located within the Huascaran National Park. Optional boat rides available, ask your tour guide.

After breakfast, we’ll start our next adventure in the Nevado Pastoruri. This incredible mountain has an altitude of 5,240 meters and is located within the Cordillera Blanca.
After lunch, you’ll have some free time to enjoy the landscapes and walk around. Afterward, we’ll return to Huaraz so you can rest or stroll around before taking the bus to Lima.
You’ll depart in the evening on a comfortable tourist bus with onboard service, bound for Lima.

On this day, we’ll continue down the Pacific Coast to meet our next destination, Paracas. We’ll travel along with the pacific sea breeze on a comfortable tourist bus.
During the bus ride, the beauty of the dunes and the vineyard valleys will continue to captivate us until we finally reach Paracas small town. After arriving at the hotel, we’ll continue on to our next adventure!
The Paracas National Reserve awaits to be rediscovered, this spectacular location is home to over 400 species of flora and fauna. It was declared a national reserve in 1975 in order to preserve its diverse wildlife.
We’ll be privileged to have a guided tour through this remote location, where we are going to see the Humboldt penguins, sea lions, exotic birds such as the red footed guanay cormorants, and more.

In this opportunity, we’ll be able to visit another of Peru’s natural wonders on a boat trip, the Ballestas Islands, which are a group of different rock formations and islands located in the Paracas peninsula. They are home to the Humboldt penguins, exotic birds, and hundreds of sea lions.
Later, we’ll continue to Huacachina, the only natural oasis in South America. In this location, we’ll take a dune buggy ride that will take us through several dunes as if we were on a roller coaster! Finishing this exciting adventure, we’ll continue to the city of Nazca.

One of the world’s biggest mysteries awaits you, the Nazca Lines are surely one of the most in-demand attractions in Peru. They can only be fully appreciated by taking a flight since most of them are hidden in plain sight.
During this time, you’ll be able to observe the most well-preserved geoglyphs of this region: The Monkey, the Hummingbird, the Astronaut, the Spider, and more. Once the flight is over, we’ll continue on an overnight trip to Arequipa, the white city.

After lunch, you’ll have a guided tour through Arequipa, known for being the second largest city in Peru and for having the most visually striking historic center. After lunch, we will go for a walk around the city of Arequipa, also known as the white city, due to the presence of the white volcanic stone, called Sillar.
Continuing the journey to the Mirador de Carmen Alto, from where it is possible to observe the Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu volcanoes and the city's valley; the Mirador and Plaza de Yanahuara, a model neighborhood in the city, including the list of Cultural Heritage of Humanity along with the Historic Center of Arequipa, the Bairro do Solar, an old inn or “Tambo”, known in the past as the place that welcomes travelers, from where we will continue our tour.
The Plaza de Armas is the focal point of city life and is packed with locals every night. Here we will see the daily routine and appreciate the facade of the giant Cathedral (one of the most beautiful in Peru). We continue to the Monastery of Santa Catalina, which has housed more than 400 nuns since its opening in 1579, many of whom come from the highest levels of Peruvian society.

After breakfast, we’ll head to Arequipa’s bus terminal to board a comfortable tourist bus bound for Puno city. On the way, we’ll be able to glance at the towering Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu volcanoes.
Upon arrival in Puno, our team will take you to the hotel where you’ll try the famous Coca tea, known for helping with any altitude sickness symptoms. After checking in at the hotel, our team will show you the nearby restaurants, exchange offices, shops, tourist attractions, and more with a city map.
Important Note: Puno is located at 3,827 meters above sea level. Therefore, we highly recommend you take a few hours to get used to the altitude before exploring the city.

We’ll head towards Puno’s pier where we’ll start our Lake Titicaca Full-Day Tour. The first stop will be the Floating Islands of Uros which consists of a group of over 100 man-made Islands that are entirely made of Totora reed.
Finishing our visit, we’ll continue to Taquile Island, where you’ll learn about their culture and traditions. Locals are skilled craftsmen, as they have kept their traditions alive through generations.
After our great experience on the island and a well-deserved lunch, we’ll head back to Puno to enjoy the rest of the evening.

On this day, we’ll be heading towards Cusco on a tourist bus. The Ruta del Sol will take you to many Inca, Pre-Inca, and colonial settlements along the way. That way, you’ll get to know a bit more about our ancestors and some of the most important eras in Peruvian history.
We’ll visit places like the Archeological Site of Pucará, a Pre-Inca structure built by the Pucará culture that took place between 400 B.C. and 200 B.C. As well as Raqchi, the Southern Valley, and more just before arriving in Cusco.

From 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. – Enjoy the different sightings within the historic center of Cusco with our local guide. (Exclusive tour available for Viagens Machu Picchu passengers only).
In the afternoon, we’ll start the Archaeological City Tour with a visit to the different attractions within the city and its surroundings, like Sacsayhuaman, the Qoricancha Temple, Q’enqo, and more.

On this day, we’ll depart in the morning for the Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour. We will make our first stop to visit the Awanacancha Traditional Textile Museum, just after enjoying the magnificent view of the Sacred Valley.
Following the itinerary, we’ll continue to visit Pisac, a small town recognized for its authentic cultural expression and the outstanding Pisac Archeological site. Later, we’ll have lunch in Urubamba, located right at the heart of the Sacred Valley.
Finishing the tour, we’ll get to Ollantaytambo, where we’ll get to visit one of the oldest villages within the valley and its towering archeological site. After exploring the town of Ollantaytambo, We’ll board the train to Aguas Calientes, a town located in the middle of the mountains of the Peruvian jungle, surrounded by an impressive natural setting.

The wait is finally over, now it’s time to live the dream! Our team will take you from the hotel to board the bus up to Machu Picchu. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu’s main entrance.
Our professional guide will provide all the details about this wonder, including the mysteries and fascinating facts of the Inca culture. After our time in Machu Picchu, we’ll go back to Aguas Calientes to return to the city of Cusco by train.

3. Where can I leave my larger luggage during the trip to Machu Picchu?
- It is recommended to bring only a small backpack to Machu Picchu, as the train operator limits baggage to 5 kg per person. Larger luggage can be safely stored in your hotel’s storage in Cusco.
4. Can I choose seats on the trains?
